Introduction and things to do

Luxembourg is a tiny country. Personally, we had never thought much on visiting it til now, when the circumstances of driving down made Tiffany, for not very concrete reasons, think that could be funny to visit it. So we have take it as the pivotal point from which design all the route around. Had to be one or other!

And, after investigating a little bit, looks like there are quite a lot of things to see and do, in this little country! Beginning with the very attractive capital and with the hilly, foresty and castle infestated Ardennes and Mullerthal areas.

We will stay in the Great Duchy for 2 days, focusing in those areas that we say above. Altogheter seems to be mainly little villages, so we don't know yet which route we will follow.

On the other side, we hope that the mountainous area won't be mean to us surprising us with snow! Would be a pity that would make us change our plans radically. We will see!

Accomodation

Being there for two days, we ask for a bit of comfort! And we have found it in the Luxembourg youth hostel network, who provide us quite a lot of options from a nice reasonable price. We are not sure yet what we will choose, but we will stay both nights in the same spot, some little village like Larochette, Echternach or Beaufort.

Getting there and away

Being a small country, and focusing mainly on the southeastern area, distances between places are not longer than 20 kilometers, so we don't really think about driving so much either. Spa, our previous stop, is about 100 kilometres from the centre of Luxembourg, where we are thinking in staying.
